As of this writing I have two videos available for purchase. Turned Bowls Made Easy (2004) is considered by many to be the best video ever made with regard to the entire process of turning a bowl. Beyond the Basic Bowl (2006) was a follow up to the first video, and offers instruction on more advanced techniques such as natural edged bowls, winged bowls, and bowl coring. We are currently in the process of putting together a third video. It has not been filmed yet, but as it progresses, I will update it here on this page.

These videos may be purchased directly from me via this website, or from a number of distributors. You may purchase them individually, or together. If you buy both at the same time, we offer a 10% discount. Click on the links below to read more about each video.

As far as how good they are, if you think I am full of hot air (and many people do!), click on the reviews link below to see what other people think. And if THAT isn't good enough to convince you, go to one of the woodturning forums on the web and ask if anyone there has ever seen one, and if they would care to recommend it.

Beyond the Basic Bowl

We have done something which, to the best of our knowledge, is a first in woodworking videos. Beyond the Basic Bowl is closed captioned for the hearing impaired. We recognize that many woodworkers either have hearing problems or will have hearing problems. Even if you don't, closed captioning offers you a way to view your video in a noisy shop environment. If you don't think your shop is noisy, you may need this feature more than you know!

International Customers!
There is no regional coding for the Turned Bowls Made Easy DVD. However, there may still be compatibility issues with NTSC vs PALS formatting.
For those of you who are ordering from a foreign country, international orders will all be charged the same shipping as domestic orders, and will be shipped via air mail through the USPS. There are options that might be a little faster for you, but even the priority mail which would almost double the price in most cases only shaves one day off the estimated time of delivery. However, if you want to try and get it faster, please write and let me know.
